WHAT WE DO
SCULPTURE
Our range of activity is manifold. Enriching our culture on the scale of the society as well as on a personal level is just as important to us as making a decent living by creating original artwork. We do not subscribe to copying and / or importing copies of existing artwork where other cultures are exploited in the process and the original liveliness and energy of the artwork is lost in the conveyor belt style reproduction.
We recognise the need for creating and preserving the artistic millieu, the work of which can contribute to a more connected and socially aware society.
FIGURE DRAWING
The human body and its relationship to the world is an essential tool in understanding who we are. The foundation of our sculpture lies in realistic figure drawing, the tool that has been used to study, understand and design the human body across hundreds of generations of artists of all ages.
In order to preserve and increase the knowledge of figure drawing on a wider basis we run a periodic figure drawing course at an incomparably affordable price. For more information, visit Figure Drawing Masterclass.
For those who would like to do the course but live further away or overseas, the same course is available in an online version. For more information, visit Figure Drawing Online.
MONUMENTAL MASONRY AND SCULPTURE
The Monumental Masonry and Sculpture engages with reviving the art and craft of traditional headstones and plaques.
There is a rich history of design and tradition which is disappearing because of a lack of artists and craftsmen who can do the stone carving.
Sculpture and Stone can provide both, the traditional design in many combinations and an organic blend of the traditional design and figurative sculpture.
The elements can be varied and combined as well as scaled to a degree to fit the size of the stone the clients requires. The stone can be both sandstone and marble.
Note: Before making a decission about the shape and material of the headstone we advise you check with the burrial ground of your choice as some of them have restrictions in these regards.
